Time decays

Fire blossoms burning flesh
death becomes the ignorant
those who touch but do not heed
warnings given graciously
never a need but spoken anyway
you simply threw the warnings away
fire blossoms burning your flesh
they called upon you so ignorant
burning the eyes so beautiful
those who touch the ones harmful
hands that pick and pluck and bend
kill the flowers snuff the flames
your flesh it burns as time decays

Wordless mouth

In absence of the truth we find
souls decay they wither and die
for spoken words no longer true
you have lied demons are soothed
in absence of the honest tongue
lips they curl and dry and break
you become the thing you hate
when everything caresses evil
truth becomes the lips upheaval
and then the world starts to decay
the souls have died they’re no saints
in absence of the truth we find
the purest souls no longer mind
and everything breaks down in time
the world becomes the wordless mouth

Crumbles

It all comes crumbling down
tick the clocks and run right now
burn the pictures trash the house
tear the curtains break the mirrors
we are dying breaking fear
it all comes down crumbling so
the world we’ve lost, lost all we know
broken pictures broken dreams
we got lost in all our screams
tick the clocks and tock the time
we all crumble before we die

Boils cold

Ringing in my ears
screaming in my eyes
tears they often decay
grow cold and break apart
brittle as they are
they fall like shooting stars
burning in the night
my skin they often ride
ringing in my ears
bleeding through my eyes
here the midnight comes
burning through my sight
brittle as these bones
take apart the soul
a moment carved in stone
the blood it boils cold.

Left of us

Burn away the suffocation
placate scars with gratification
pleasure the senses-don’t forget
bath in salt and peppermint
keep the aroma fresh and simple
everything clean, red, and traditional
burn away the smell of death
decay of human innocence
burn the petals and the trunk
fill the ashes with what’s left of us
